Palm leaf boat - shapely - designed by nature - produced ethically

Palm leaf boats are as stylish as they are natural. They are formed from the completely natural leaf shape of the betel nut palm, and are therefore designed by nature in the truest sense. What’s more, the palm leaf boats are produced absolutely ethically. Socially-responsible manufacture according to the BSCI principles make our designer piece your beautifully-shaped clear conscience ToGo.

Palm leaf boats – style kisses nature

As a completely natural product, our palm leaf boats are real head-turners for two reasons. For one, the shape is modern, curved and is sure to capture the attention of your guests. On the other hand, the material used changes the look of every individual boat. The organic structure of the individual leaf stalks have different patterns - natural and special. Kissed by nature in this way, every boat is unmistakably unique. You can use the palm leaf boats in catering, as well as in the canteen, for a buffet, in food trucks or at any other event.

Palm leaf boats - fair working conditions - BSCI qualified

Producing natural designs in a modern way, with every production step being verifiably responsible - that fits with our company philosophy. In this way, the palm leaf boats are formed as a natural waste product from betel nut plantations in India. During the summer, some of the 4 to 7 palm leaves which these palms lose annually are gathered. Cleaned, dried and subsequently steam-formed, the new palm leaf boats are produced. But our popular palm leaf plates are also made in this sustainable way. The welfare of the Indian workers is an equally important part of our efforts. Whether operating presses, trimming or polishing the products, working in the office or in the warehouse - all 180 employees are offered a secure year-round workplace. The fair working conditions were checked by a committee at the outset. Following this, the BSCI qualification was awarded for the first time, and is now confirmed by regular audits. We also regularly check these unusually fair working conditions ourselves on site. We are proud to have reached this objective together with our partners on site.
